Hello, for my Thesis i would like to work with full-text-papers from a specific search result.
Is there a way to download all ~1000 papers from the result at once?

Im open for tipps.

Kind regards
Dominik

Dear Dominik

Fulltext data is for subscribers only. The only fulltext data that is accessible is by using the OpenAccess API. Is this the API you are using? Can you please paste the API call (minus key) that is yielding the ~1000 results?

Dear Springer Nature API Team,
my university is providing me an academic-License-key. Im not sure if this is enough for me to use the API for papers behind the paywall.
Im not using the OpenAccess API, because I want to include papers which are not open access and only accessible through my Licence. Or is it the same API (OpenAccess API) for open access articles and paid articles?
Which of the subscription-types do I need?

Right now i don’t have an API call which fits my needs:
1. Access non-Open Access via the API
2. specify my search request more the the “advanced search” allows (only show papers where a specific term is included in the abstract or keywords)
3. download all the results from my request at once

Thank you for your help!
Dominik

Hi Dominik

Please clarify your request. Are you seeking access to a fulltext, non-OpenAccess API? If so, please write to tdm@springernature.com and specify the name of your institution and what you are looking for. We can carry the discussion further there. Regarding downloading all results at once, note that, for any API, you will be limited to the throttle rates we specify.

Hello Springer Nature API Team,

I’m currently having the same question. I’d love to download many papers using the API. I’m from a subscriber institution with full access, but according to your online lists of APIs, I’m not sure what the method would be to actually download full text of non-open-access papers. If you could help me figure out what the proper API would be, that would be great.

Thank you in advance for your help,
Jon Onorato
